Terrace pads serve as an essential separation layer between the solid base (screed, concrete) and the wooden or metal substructure. They protect the wood from rising moisture (capillary water barrier), ensure proper ventilation, and effectively prevent premature rot of the substructure.

We use high-quality, durable, and weather-resistant rubber granulate (PUR-bound). This material is rot-proof, withstands extreme temperatures, and its elasticity makes it perfect for absorbing peak loads.

No, gluing is generally not necessary. Our rubber underlays and terrace pads are already very slip-resistant due to their own weight and rubber-like structure. They are simply placed under the substructure, making installation extremely easy and flexible.

Yes, this is a major advantage of our rubber terrace pads. Thanks to the different available thicknesses (e.g., 3 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm) and the possibility to stack pads or combine different thicknesses, slight unevenness of the substrate can be compensated very precisely. For larger height differences, however, we recommend using adjustable feet or support plates first.
