Ordering & Configuration

How do I order from diconfa?

Many standard items and made-to-measure products can be ordered directly in the online shop. Select the product you need, specify – where available – dimensions, material, thickness or other variants, and complete your order via the shopping cart and checkout. For special shapes, parts made to drawing or requirements that cannot be configured directly in the shop, you can submit an individual enquiry.

Can I configure products to my exact dimensions?

Yes. Custom cuts and made-to-measure manufacturing are a core focus at diconfa. For many products, the required dimensions can be selected or entered directly in the shop. Which dimensions, thicknesses or variants are available depends on the specific product and material.

Can I order single items or small quantities?

Yes. diconfa explicitly caters to customers with small requirements. Depending on the product, single items and very small quantities are possible; at the same time, larger quantities and series production can also be requested. Whether a specific quantity is technically and economically feasible depends on the material, geometry and manufacturing process.

Can I order from diconfa as a private customer?

Yes. diconfa serves private customers as well as businesses, trades and industry. Custom cuts can be particularly useful for individual projects, as the material can be ordered to the required dimensions from the outset, which means less rework.

Does diconfa also offer solutions for businesses and industry?

Yes. diconfa supplies industry, commercial businesses, trades, construction, logistics and workshops, among others. In addition to individual cuts, recurring requirements, series and larger quantities are also possible, provided the required material and geometry are technically feasible.

Where can I see the price and shipping costs of my order?

Product prices are displayed in the online shop. Additional shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country, size and weight of the order and are shown in the shopping cart or checkout before the order is completed. For individual quotation requests, you will receive the terms together with the respective quote.

What do I do if I cannot find the product or size I need in the shop?

If your requirements cannot be configured directly in the shop, you can contact diconfa via the contact and advice page or submit an individual enquiry. For special shapes and parts made to drawing, technical data or drawings can also be submitted, depending on the enquiry.

Payment, Shipping & Returns

Which payment methods does diconfa offer?

diconfa currently offers credit card, PayPal and payment on invoice. The payment options available to you in each case are shown at checkout. Payment methods may change; the current information in the online shop is therefore always authoritative.

Current information on payment & shipping

Is payment on invoice available?

Yes. Payment on invoice is currently offered for orders from Germany and Austria. For other destination countries, the payment methods shown at checkout are available.

Which countries does diconfa deliver to?

The current “Payment & Shipping” page lists Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands as delivery countries. As delivery areas may be extended or changed, please check the available delivery countries in the shop when placing an order.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs depend primarily on the destination country and the dimensions and weight of the shipment. diconfa uses different shipping methods for this, ranging from small parcels and standard parcels to bulky goods and freight forwarding. The shipping method and the specific costs that apply to your order are shown in the shopping cart before checkout is completed.

Which shipping methods and carriers does diconfa use?

Different shipping methods are used depending on size and weight. The current shipping page lists DHL, GLS, UPS and freight forwarding, among others. The shipping method used for your order is determined based on the shipment data.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

The current “Payment & Shipping” page states dispatch within 2–3 business days. For made-to-measure items, special parts or individual products, the actual processing and delivery time may differ. The information on the product page, in the ordering process or in the individual quote is therefore authoritative.

Can I cancel or return standard items?

Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for standard items. The exact conditions, deadlines and return instructions can be found in diconfa's current cancellation policy. For business orders, the applicable contractual and statutory provisions apply.

Can I return custom-made products?

For goods manufactured individually to the customer's dimensions or based on technical data provided by the customer, consumers generally have no statutory right of withdrawal. This applies in particular to made-to-measure cuts and other clearly customer-specific items. The labelling of the item and the current cancellation policy or terms and conditions are decisive.

What can I do if an item is defective?

The statutory warranty rights and the provisions of diconfa's terms and conditions apply to purchased goods. If you discover a defect, please contact diconfa with your order and product details so that the case can be reviewed.

Custom Manufacturing & Parts Made to Drawing

Which products and materials can diconfa manufacture to size?

diconfa offers technical semi-finished products, finished parts and custom cuts from various material groups. These include in particular rubber, plastic, metal, foam and sealing materials. Depending on the product, standard formats, rectangular cuts, configured made-to-measure products or individually requested parts made to drawing are possible.

Can I order rubber mats made to measure?

Yes. Made-to-measure rubber mats are one of diconfa's core product areas. Depending on the product, various rubber grades, thicknesses and surfaces are available. Many mats can be ordered directly in the required dimensions; special shapes or cut-outs can be requested separately depending on your requirements.

Does diconfa manufacture custom gaskets and seals?

Yes. diconfa offers flat gaskets, DIN and flange gaskets, fibre gaskets, gasket paper, sealing tapes, sealing profiles and foam seals, among others. For individual requirements, gaskets or special seals can be requested based on dimensions or drawings. The choice of material depends on the specific application and technical requirements.

Can I order plastic sheets cut to size?

Yes. In the plastics range, diconfa offers plastic sheets and other semi-finished products that, depending on the product, can be ordered made to measure or cut to size. The range includes, for example, acrylic glass, rigid PVC, polystyrene, PTFE and other plastic products. The available dimensions and thicknesses are shown on the respective product page.

Can I order metal cut to size?

Yes. diconfa stocks semi-finished metal products and profiles and, depending on the product, offers custom cuts. The range includes round bars, rectangular tubes, flat and square steel bars and aluminium profiles, among others. For special geometries or parts made to drawing, we recommend submitting an individual enquiry.

Are special shapes, cut-outs or parts made to drawing possible?

Yes, provided that the required geometry, material and manufacturing process are technically feasible. In addition to simple cuts, diconfa also offers individual special parts and manufacturing to drawing. For shapes that cannot be configured directly, the individual enquiry is the best option.

Can I submit a DXF or PDF file for a custom part?

Yes. diconfa.de explicitly offers the option of submitting drawings as DXF or PDF files for special shapes and parts made to drawing and requesting an individual quote. For technical files, it is important that dimensions, contours and other manufacturing details are clear and complete.

Does diconfa check my drawing or DXF file for technical suitability?

Manufacturing is based on the technical data you provide. According to the terms and conditions, your files are not checked in terms of content, design, function or safety. Any review serves only to assess general manufacturing feasibility and does not replace technical approval by the customer.

How precise are made-to-measure cuts?

diconfa manufactures cuts to the specified dimensions and describes many made-to-measure products as precise or accurately fitting. At the same time, tolerances may occur due to the material, transport or the process used. The specifications of the respective product or quote are therefore always binding; where tolerances are critical, the requirements should be explicitly agreed before ordering.

Are series, recurring requirements or framework agreements possible?

Yes. In addition to single items and small quantities, diconfa also lists series requirements, recurring deliveries and framework agreements as possible forms of procurement. Whether and how such requirements can be fulfilled depends on the product, material, geometry and required quantity, and larger or recurring requirements should be agreed individually.

How do I find the right material for my application?

The choice of material depends on the specific loads and intended use – for example temperature, moisture, UV exposure, oils, fuels, chemicals, mechanical stress or the required sealing and damping effect. Please use the technical information on the respective product page and contact diconfa if you are unsure. For safety-critical or structural applications, suitability should additionally be checked by a qualified expert.

Which rubber mat is suitable for my application?

That depends on the application. diconfa stocks smooth solid rubber mats, textured rubber runners, anti-slip mats, building protection mats and other application-specific mats, among others. Decisive factors include the surface underneath, the load, indoor or outdoor use, contact with media, and the required surface finish and thickness.

What is the difference between SBR, NBR and EPDM?

Put simply, SBR is often used for general mechanical applications, NBR mainly where contact with oil, grease or fuel is relevant, and EPDM often for applications exposed to weather and UV. This classification is only a first orientation: actual suitability depends on the specific compound, temperature, media exposure and other operating conditions. The specifications of the respective product are authoritative.

Does diconfa also offer sealing materials, gaskets and seals?

Yes. The gaskets and seals section includes flat gaskets, DIN and flange gaskets, fibre materials and gasket paper, sealing tapes, sealing profiles and foam seals, among others. Depending on the product, standard dimensions, custom cuts or individual manufacturing are possible.

Does diconfa also offer plastic sheets, tubes and round rods?

Yes. The plastics range includes sheets and rolls, plastic tubes, plastic strips, and round and square rods, among others. Depending on the product, various plastics, dimensions and processing options are available.

Where can I find technical data and material properties?

Technical information can be found in the respective product and category descriptions. Where relevant to the product, these describe, for example, material, dimensions, thickness, resistances or typical areas of application. According to the terms and conditions, general technical values and material characteristics are guide values unless expressly agreed as binding properties.
