EPDM impresses with its exceptional resistance to weather conditions, UV radiation, ozone, moisture and temperature fluctuations. This makes the strips particularly suitable for outdoor use, but also for industrial applications.

Application areas for EPDM rubber strips

EPDM rubber strips are used wherever reliable sealing, insulation or damping is required – for example:

  • in vehicle construction (e.g. classic cars or motorhomes)

Frequently Asked Questions about EPDM Rubber Strips

EPDM is highly weather-resistant as well as UV- and ozone-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use. Compared to SBR, EPDM is more durable and remains more elastic under changing temperatures.

EPDM remains elastic and functional within a temperature range of approximately –40°C to +120°C.

Yes, EPDM strips can be fixed using a suitable adhesive or double-sided tape. We also offer self-adhesive versions upon request.

EPDM is not suitable for applications involving oils, greases, or hydrocarbons. In such cases, we recommend other rubber types such as NBR.

Yes, we manufacture even small quantities – ideal for workshops, craftsmen, or private construction projects.
