Where Can Safety Mats Be Used?
Thanks to their combination of a slip-resistant surface, open structure and suitability for indoor and outdoor use, safety mats can be used in many different areas. Typical applications include:
- house entrances and commercial entrance areas
- walkways and pedestrian routes
- outdoor stairs and access stairs
- terraces and balconies
- driveways and company premises
- work and traffic areas
- bus stops and railway stations
- boat landings and bridges
- pool and swimming pool areas
- other areas where moisture or weather conditions can increase the risk of slipping
Which mat and installation method are suitable for a specific area should always be assessed based on the actual conditions on site.
Safety Mats in Anthracite, Grey, Red and Beige
In addition to function, colour can also play a role when making a selection. The safety mats are currently available in anthracite, grey, red and beige. This allows the floor covering to either blend discreetly into the surroundings or be deliberately highlighted visually.
Subtle Safety Mats in Anthracite, Grey and Beige
Anthracite, grey and beige are suitable for areas where the mat should blend into the surroundings as harmoniously as possible. Anthracite has a dark and understated appearance, grey offers a neutral salt-and-pepper look, and beige is suitable for lighter entrance, terrace or outdoor areas.
Red Safety Mat with a Visible Signal Effect
The red version stands out clearly from many floor surfaces and can therefore visually mark walkways or specific zones. Technically, it is based on the same construction as the other colour versions currently available.
Order a Custom Safety Mat
A safety mat should fit the existing area as closely as possible. At diconfa, the available PVC safety mats can therefore be individually configured in the required width and length. This allows entrances, walkways, stair areas or larger outdoor surfaces to be fitted appropriately without having to cut unnecessary amounts of material on site.
The safety mats currently offered are manufactured in Germany and cut according to the selected dimensions. The available sizes can be found directly in the respective product configurator.
Safety Mat or Anti-Slip Mat – What Is the Difference?
The terms safety mat, anti-slip mat and slip-resistant mat are sometimes used in similar ways in everyday language. However, the specific construction and intended use are decisive. The safety mats offered here consist of a PVC-coated glass yarn carrier with PVC granulate and are designed in particular as slip-resistant, water-permeable floor coverings for walkways and outdoor areas.
For other requirements, such as profiled rubber mats for workshops, ramps or technical applications, diconfa also offers anti-slip mats and other profiled floor mats.
