Custom-made NBR rubber strips – specialist for oil and fuel contact

NBR rubber strips (also known as nitrile rubber) are characterized by their excellent oil and petrol resistance, making them particularly suitable for industrial applications where mineral oil-based substances are present. Whether as sealing, underlay, intermediate layer or edge protection – Diconfa’s NBR strips meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Properties of NBR rubber strips

  • Resistant to oil, grease and fuels
  • Temperature resistant from approx. –20 °C to +80 °C
  • High abrasion and tear resistance
  • Very good mechanical strength
  • Precise cutting according to customer specifications
  • Wide range of applications in industry & trade

Typical applications of NBR rubber strips

NBR rubber strips are used wherever other types of rubber reach their limits – e.g. in mechanical engineering, workshops, vehicle construction, hydraulic systems or in the production of oil-resistant seals. They are ideally suited as strip material for coverings, insulation or vibration-damping intermediate layers.

In addition to custom-made NBR rubber strips, we also offer self-adhesive rubber strips, EPDM rubber strips, SBR rubber strips and other high-quality custom-made rubber strips – perfectly tailored to your requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions about NBR Rubber Strips

NBR stands for “Nitrile Butadiene Rubber” – a synthetic rubber known for its high resistance to oils, lubricants, and fuels.

NBR has only limited UV resistance. For long-term outdoor use, we recommend EPDM rubber instead.

NBR combines good mechanical strength with flexibility and remains functional even at low temperatures.

Yes, you can enter your required dimensions individually – larger lengths or widths are not a problem.

No, NBR rubber is not certified for direct contact with drinking water or food.
