Overview of Our Plastic Sheets
Plastic sheets differ significantly depending on the material in terms of appearance, stability, flexibility, temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and machinability. That is why it is important to choose not only by size, but also by the right type of plastic. At diconfa, you will find various plastic sheets for different requirements – from transparent sheets and technical plastics to flexible roll materials.
Acrylic Glass Sheets – transparent, UV-stable, and high-quality
Acrylic glass sheets are particularly suitable for applications where transparency, light transmission, and a high-quality appearance are important. They are often used for covers, viewing windows, displays, signs, model making, shopfitting, advertising technology, and technical applications.
Acrylic glass is a popular alternative to glass because it is lighter and easy to process. Depending on the version, crystal-clear or opal-white variants are available. This makes acrylic glass suitable for clear viewing surfaces as well as decorative or light-diffusing applications.
Rigid PVC Sheets – dimensionally stable, chemical-resistant, and versatile
Rigid PVC sheets are dimensionally stable plastic sheets for technical, commercial, and industrial applications. They are suitable for covers, cladding, constructions, protective panels, technical components, and many areas where a robust plastic cut-to-size part is required.
Rigid PVC is easy to process and can be sawn, drilled, or further processed depending on the application. The natural white PVC-U sheets are particularly interesting for technical applications where dimensional stability, resistance, and a clean cut are important.
Polystyrene Sheets – lightweight, colored, and easy to process
Polystyrene sheets are lightweight, dimensionally stable plastic sheets with a smooth surface. They are particularly suitable for model making, crafts, exhibition stand construction, shopfitting, advertising, signs, displays, creative projects, and simple technical applications.
A major advantage of polystyrene is its excellent processability. The material can be cut, printed, painted, glued, milled, sanded, and thermoformed. This makes polystyrene sheets ideal when a lightweight plastic sheet in various colors or for visual applications is required.
Silicone Sheets – flexible, heat-resistant, and cold-resistant
Silicone sheets are elastic plastic sheets for applications where flexibility, temperature resistance, and hygienic properties are important. They are suitable, among other things, for seals, food contact, medical applications, laboratories, industry, technical components, and private applications.
Silicone remains flexible even with changing temperatures and is therefore particularly versatile. The sheets can be used as sealing material, intermediate layers, protective pads, or technical components. Silicone can also be the right solution where rigid plastic sheets are not suitable.
PTFE Sheets – chemical-resistant, temperature-resistant, and low-friction
PTFE sheets are among the highest-performance technical plastic sheets. They are particularly chemical-resistant, temperature-resistant, electrically insulating, and have very good sliding properties. This makes them suitable for demanding applications in industry, mechanical engineering, laboratories, food technology, and technical constructions.
PTFE is often used when other materials reach their limits due to temperature, friction, or aggressive media. Typical applications include sliding surfaces, seals, technical components, laboratory components, insulation, and constructions with high requirements for resistance and precision.
Soft PVC Rolls – flexible, transparent, and resistant
Soft PVC rolls are flexible plastic solutions for protection, covering, and separation applications. The material is transparent, resistant, and versatile. It is suitable, among other things, for industry, commerce, logistics, workshops, table protection, covers, underlays, and flexible cut-to-size parts.
Depending on the product, soft PVC can be used as a transparent sheet, flexible roll, or table film. The material is particularly practical when a bendable, protective, and at the same time robust plastic solution is required.
