PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / CORE FUNCTION: This anthracite PVC safety mat by diconfa is engineered to counter slipping on surfaces made hazardous by water, ice, snow, frost, or general moisture. A layer of coarse PVC granules on the upper face provides a firm grip in adverse conditions. Produced in Germany to strict standards, each mat is cut precisely to your requested size.
MATERIAL AND QUALITY: At the heart of the mat sits a fiberglass yarn core, laminated on both sides with a slip-resistant PVC coating and finished on top with a traction-enhancing PVC granule layer. Thickness lies between 6 mm and 7 mm. The open structure lets water flow straight through, so no puddles form and the surface dries quickly. The dark anthracite finish is UV-resistant, weatherproof, rot-proof, and low-odour for use indoors and outdoors alike.
ADVANTAGES: Because the mat is self-laying, it can be walked on or driven over immediately without fasteners. It performs across an operating range of -25 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius and rinses clean with water. Cutting to size on location requires only a utility knife and straight edge, standard PVC adhesive secures it to the substrate, and it rolls up compactly when not in use.
AREAS OF USE: The deep anthracite colour hides dirt and marks well, a practical benefit for company premises, driveways, staircases, and high-traffic entrance areas exposed to water, moisture, ice, or snow. It also serves walkways, terraces, balconies, bus stops, railway platforms, pool surrounds, boat landings, bridges, garden paths, and beach areas where sinking protection is needed.
STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS: An IFA certificate confirms slip resistance class R13 with displacement volume V10. EMPA certifies the mat as a floor covering with enhanced slip resistance rated Gs4. Fire testing by iff verifies its flame-retardant classification, while SKZ has certified its lightfastness.
TECHNICAL DATA: Material composition: fiberglass yarn with double-sided PVC coating and PVC granule surface. Thickness: 6 mm to 7 mm. Operating temperature range: -25 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. Slip resistance: R13 / V10. Fire classification: flame-retardant. Colour: anthracite. A total of 4 colours are available: grey (salt and pepper), anthracite, red and beige.
VARIANTS: Available as a custom cut in widths from 0.1 m to 1.8 m and lengths from 0.1 m to 10 m, with each mat trimmed exactly to the measurements you provide.
