PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / CORE FUNCTION: This solid NBR rubber cord made of nitrile rubber is ideal as a sealing cord, joint filler profile, buffer element or impact damper. The solid round material is precisely cut to size in Germany and ready for immediate use. Thanks to its high resistance to oils, petrol, fuels and greases, this cord is especially suitable for demanding industrial applications.
MATERIAL & QUALITY: The round profile is made of solid NBR rubber (nitrile butadiene rubber) in black. It is not foam but a compact, closed rubber profile. Manufactured according to proven industrial quality with tolerances in accordance with DIN 3301-1 E2. The material can be easily cut to size with a standard utility knife if needed.
ADVANTAGES: NBR solid rubber offers excellent resistance to mineral oils, petrol, diesel, greases and water. It is temperature resistant from -30 °C to +100 °C and maintains its elasticity under varying environmental conditions. The round cross-section ensures uniform surface pressure in grooves and joints, enabling reliable sealing.
APPLICATION AREAS: Used in industrial environments such as mechanical and plant engineering, door and gate sealing, and as a decoupling element. In automotive applications, it is used in vehicle construction, workshops and car tuning. Craftsmen use it in metalworking, HVAC and plumbing installations, as well as sealing oil tanks. Also suitable for private use, such as boat building or sealing tasks around home and garden.
STANDARDS & TESTING: Dimensional tolerances comply with DIN 3301-1, tolerance class E2. This standard defines permissible deviations for rubber profiles and ensures consistent manufacturing precision.
