Satin Table Protector with 45° Beveled Edge Cut to Size

PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / CORE FUNCTION: This satin-finished table protector with a frosted-glass look reliably protects sensitive table surfaces from scratches, dirt and mechanical stress. Thanks to the precisely bevelled V-edge at a 45° angle, the protector blends seamlessly into the tabletop. Production and processing take place entirely in Germany. The material is suitable for direct contact with food.

MATERIAL & QUALITY: The protective film is made of high-quality flexible PVC with a thickness of 2 mm. Both sides are lightly textured (matt), creating the characteristic frosted-glass appearance. The precise machine cut takes into account a seasonal shrinkage allowance of 1–3 mm. The operating temperature range is −15 °C to +60 °C.

BENEFITS: The matt finish on both sides completely prevents air bubbles from forming between the film and the tabletop. Thanks to its satin finish, the film is particularly scratch-resistant and visually resembles a frosted-glass panel. It also provides sound-dampening properties and helps protect dishes placed on the surface. The PVC material is tear-resistant, UV-resistant, weather-resistant and virtually odourless after a short airing period.

AREAS OF USE: The satin-finished table protector is particularly suitable for glass surfaces, high-gloss, lacquered and natural stone surfaces, as well as all other smooth tabletops. It can be used permanently both indoors and outdoors. Typical applications include use as a table protector, scratch protector, protective mat or cover for dining tables, conference tables and worktops.

STANDARDS & TESTING: The table protector is approved for direct contact with food. It is manufactured in Germany under controlled quality standards.

NOTE ON SIZE SELECTION: Due to the nature of the material, flexible PVC has what is known as a memory effect. When exposed to heat, particularly direct sunlight and high temperatures, the film may shrink slightly over time. The extent of this effect depends on the respective temperature and environmental conditions and therefore cannot be predicted precisely. The table protector is cut to the ordered dimensions in accordance with our applicable tolerances; during production, an attempt is made to take possible shrinkage into account. As this is a natural characteristic of the material and the actual dimensional change depends on the respective conditions of use, we cannot guarantee that the dimensions of the table protector will remain permanently unchanged.

For permanent outdoor use and exposure to direct sunlight, it may be advisable to order the table protector approximately 1% larger as a precaution in order to account for possible material-related dimensional changes. No size adjustment is necessary for indoor use.

VARIANTS: The table protector can be individually configured. It is available in widths from 100 mm to 1,500 mm and lengths from 100 mm to 4,500 mm. The film is precisely cut to the specified dimensions.

Please note that printed surfaces such as paper or newspapers may cause discoloration when left in prolonged contact with PVC, as plasticizers can dissolve color pigments and transfer them into the material. This effect is intensified by longer exposure times and higher temperatures.
