PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / KEY FUNCTION: Ready-to-install flat gaskets made from pure EPDM rubber (free of SBR content), manufactured in Germany. These sealing rings ensure a reliable, leak-free connection for threaded fittings, pipe joints, flanges, and hose connections. Certified for use with drinking water, they are suitable for both new installations and repair or replacement applications.
MATERIAL & QUALITY: The gaskets are produced from high-grade EPDM elastomer without SBR admixture, ensuring consistent performance and long service life. With a hardness of 70 Shore A (+/- 5 Shore A) and a material thickness of 3 mm, each gasket provides dependable sealing under a wide temperature range from -30 degrees C to +90 degrees C. Proudly manufactured in Germany to exacting standards.
ADVANTAGES: The EPDM compound offers outstanding resistance to ageing, weathering, ozone, and UV radiation, as well as acids and alkalis. Each gasket delivers complete protection against leakage and is designed for straightforward, tool-free installation. Please note that EPDM is not resistant to oils or petrol-based substances.
AREAS OF APPLICATION: Designed for use in threaded connections, pipe and flange assemblies, hose fittings, and general plumbing installations. Widely applied in sanitary and installation engineering, mechanical and plant engineering, container construction, and industrial piping systems where contact with water, dilute acids, or alkaline solutions is expected.
STANDARDS & CERTIFICATIONS: Drinking water approval certified according to KTW-BWGL for gaskets and equipment items (P2) in contact with cold and warm water up to 60 degrees C. The gaskets also meet the requirements of EN 681-1 for elastomeric seals used in water supply and drainage pipework.
TECHNICAL DATA: Material: EPDM (pure, no SBR). Thickness: 3 mm. Hardness: 70 Shore A (+/- 5). Operating temperature: -30 degrees C to +90 degrees C. Standard: DIN 2690. Outer diameter range: 14 mm to 148 mm. Inner diameter range: 9 mm to 120 mm. Chemical resistance: ozone, UV, weathering, acids, alkalis. Not resistant to: mineral oils, petrol, hydrocarbons.
VARIANTS: Available in nominal sizes from 1/8 inch (14 x 9 x 3 mm) to 4 inch (148 x 120 x 3 mm), covering a total of 16 different size options. Quantities range from 1 piece to 200 pieces per order unit.
