PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / KEY FUNCTION: High-performance flat gasket made from Klingersil C-4400 material, precision-cut according to DIN 2690 standards. Designed for reliable sealing of pipe flange connections across a wide range of industrial applications. Suitable for pressures up to 150 bar and temperatures up to 250°C in continuous operation or 400°C for short-term exposure. Manufactured in Germany to ensure consistent dimensional accuracy and sealing performance.
MATERIAL & QUALITY: Composed of aramid fibres bonded with NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), providing excellent resistance to a broad spectrum of chemicals and media. The 2 mm thick gasket material delivers dependable compression and recovery characteristics. The non-stick surface coating facilitates straightforward removal during maintenance, eliminating the need for additional sealants or adhesives during installation.
ADVANTAGES: Installed dry without the use of sealing aids, simplifying the assembly process. The controlled tightening of bolts is sufficient to achieve proper sealing — re-tightening is generally not required. The Klingersil C-4400 compound offers universal chemical compatibility, making it a dependable choice for diverse sealing tasks across multiple industries. Each gasket is precisely cut to the specified DIN 2690 dimensions for an accurate fit on standard flanges.
AREAS OF APPLICATION: Suited for use in the chemical industry, food processing, drinking water systems, plumbing, mechanical engineering, plant construction, and general industrial pipe connections. Compatible sealing media include oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants, and refrigerants.
STANDARDS & CERTIFICATIONS: BAM tested. Certified according to DIN DVGW, W270, DVGW VP 401, and the German elastomer guideline. Further approvals include ÖVGW Reg. No. G 1.912, DNV GL classification, TA Luft compliance, and fire-safe certification per DIN EN ISO 10497.
TECHNICAL DATA: Material: Klingersil C-4400 (aramid fibres with NBR binder). Thickness: 2 mm. Maximum operating pressure: up to 150 bar. Continuous temperature rating: up to 250°C. Short-term temperature tolerance: up to 400°C. Standard: DIN 2690. Nominal diameters: DN15 to DN500. Pressure ratings: PN10 to PN40 depending on nominal size.
VARIANTS: Available in nominal sizes from DN15 to DN500 with outer dimensions ranging from 50 x 22 mm to 595 x 520 mm. Pressure ratings vary by size from PN10 up to PN40. Pack quantities range from 1 to 100 pieces per order unit.
