About this item
PROFESSIONAL QUALITY: Solid red acrylic sheet (PMMA GS plastic) with a thickness of 3 mm. The sheet is precision CNC-cut and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The material is opaque, offers the appearance of real glass at a significantly lower weight, and provides excellent chemical and mechanical resistance.
MATERIAL & QUALITY: Manufactured from cast polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA GS), known for its high surface hardness and dimensional stability. The red coloration is integrated throughout the material and remains permanently color-stable even under intense sunlight. Both sides are protected with a factory-applied protective film that prevents scratches and transport damage and must be completely removed before use.
ADVANTAGES & APPLICATIONS: The red acrylic sheet is 100% UV-resistant and does not yellow even after many years of use. It remains color-stable, robust, impact-resistant, weather-resistant, and resistant to chemical influences and mechanical stress. Compared to conventional glass, PMMA is considerably lighter and does not shatter into sharp fragments when broken. The material is also recyclable. Typical applications include furniture construction, protective screens, crafts, splash guards, covers, machine enclosures, picture frames, model making, windbreaks, LED projects, lighting applications, exhibition stand construction, sign making, pet-related applications, and decorative surface design.
STANDARDS & TESTING: Cast PMMA (GS acrylic glass) complies with common industry standards for plastic sheets and is comparable to branded products such as Plexiglas. Manufacturing is carried out using CNC cutting with precise dimensional tolerances.
