PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / CORE FUNCTION: The grey VDE insulating mat from diconfa has been developed for professional use in areas with electrical hazards. With a material thickness of 4.5 mm, it provides reliable insulating floor protection up to 50,000 volts (50 kV). It supports safe work on electrical systems and helps to significantly reduce the risk of current passing through the floor.

MATERIAL & QUALITY: The mat is made of durable rubber and designed to withstand demanding everyday use. The grey top surface is finely ribbed and provides a secure standing surface, while the profiled underside offers additional grip on the floor. With a hardness of 65 Shore A (+/- 5 Shore), a tensile strength of 3.5 MPa and an elongation at break of 250 %, the insulating mat offers robust material properties and a long service life.

ADVANTAGES: Thanks to its electrically insulating properties, the mat is ideal as a protective floor covering in safety-relevant work areas. The slip-resistant structure improves footing and helps drain liquids from the surface. If required, the mat can be fixed to clean substrates using suitable contact adhesive. Individual cuts can also be made easily with a sharp utility knife and a straight guide rail.

AREAS OF USE: The VDE insulating mat can be used wherever people need protection from electrical risks – for example in power stations, switch rooms, testing rooms, generator rooms, in front of control cabinets, in server areas, for high-voltage applications, cable protection and in front of electrical machines and technical installations. The mat is delivered rolled; brief airing outdoors before use is recommended.

STANDARDS & TESTS: The insulating mat has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 60243-1:2014 and VDE 0303/21 and is designed for a maximum dielectric strength of 50 kV. It also meets the PAH/PAK requirements according to GS Cat. 2468.

TECHNICAL DATA: Material thickness: 4.5 mm. Colour: Grey. Temperature resistance: -30 °C to +70 °C. Hardness: 65 Shore A (+/- 5 Shore). Tensile strength: 3.5 MPa. Elongation at break: 250 %. Manufacturing tolerances: 1.5 % in length and width.

VARIANTS: The mat is available in various custom-cut sizes. Widths from 10 cm to 120 cm and lengths from 5 cm to 1000 cm can be individually configured using the selection fields.
