PROFESSIONAL QUALITY / CORE FUNCTION: This EPDM cellular rubber sheet features a self-adhesive backing with grid-reinforced adhesive for strong, reliable bonding. Manufactured in Germany, the closed-cell foam structure ensures complete water impermeability, high compressibility, and excellent recovery characteristics. The material provides dependable sealing performance for both indoor and outdoor applications.
MATERIAL & QUALITY: The sheet is made from EPDM cellular rubber (closed-cell), comparable to foam rubber in its flexibility. One side is equipped with a grid-reinforced pressure-sensitive adhesive layer delivering an adhesion strength of approximately 20 N/25 mm. The raw density is 140 kg/m³ (+/- 25 kg/m³). The material is solvent-free (no CFC or HCFC content) and completely odourless.
ADVANTAGES: The EPDM cellular rubber is weatherproof, UV-stable, and resistant to ageing and abrasion. It compensates for surface irregularities while maintaining high restoring force and flexibility. The material offers outstanding compatibility with a wide range of substrates including wood, metal, plastic, concrete, stone, painted surfaces, and rubber. Before bonding, the substrate must be dry, dust-free, and grease-free, and the protective film on the adhesive side must be removed. The sheets can be precisely cut using scissors or a knife, ideally with the aid of templates or guide rails.
AREAS OF APPLICATION: Suitable for industrial, commercial, and private use. Typical applications include sealing tasks, DIY projects, model building, automotive and vehicle repairs, garage and garden installations, mechanical and plant engineering, heating and sanitary systems, exhibition stand construction, construction sites, logistics, and general trades and crafts.
STANDARDS & TESTING: Technical documentation is available on request after purchase. The material is produced in Germany and meets professional-grade sealing requirements for interior and exterior environments.
TECHNICAL DATA: Temperature resistance from -40°C to +90°C. Raw density 140 kg/m³ (+/- 25 kg/m³). Adhesion strength approximately 20 N/25 mm. Closed-cell structure, 100% waterproof. Solvent-free, CFC-free, and HCFC-free.
VARIANTS: Available in sheet sizes from 200x400 mm to 1000x2000 mm. Material thickness ranges from 1 mm to 10 mm.
