What Are DIN Gaskets?

DIN gaskets are standardized flange gaskets manufactured according to the German Industrial Standards (DIN). They are made from various materials such as fiber, rubber, or metal and provide reliable protection against leaks in pipelines, fittings, and machinery. The gaskets are precisely cut and ensure high sealing performance under varying pressure and temperature conditions.

Material Properties

DIN gaskets are used wherever standardized sealing and mechanical stability are required. Typical properties include:

  • High sealing performance even under pressure and temperature fluctuations
  • Temperature resistance depending on the material (e.g. fiber material, NBR, EPDM)
