Our custom-cut self-adhesive rubber strips are the ideal solution for quick and flexible sealing, damping and protective applications. Thanks to the factory-applied adhesive layer, the strips can be applied to clean surfaces without additional mounting material – simple and reliable.
100% QUALITY: The self-adhesive SBR rubber strip is weatherproof, durable, flexible, and versatile in use. The narrow rubber mats are smooth on both sides, feature a high-quality self-adhesive surface on one side, and are manufactured in Germany. FUNCTIONS: The self-adhesive diconfa rubber profiles can be used in industry, logistics, commercial applications, and private settings (e.g., as padding, underlay, decoupling, insulation, soundproofing, damping, seals, etc.). Thanks to the self-adhesive backing, they are especially easy to fix in place. ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS: At "diconfa – digital configuration factory," rubber strips are available in widths from 8 mm to 1200 mm and lengths of up to 10 m, including self-adhesive versions and variants made from other materials (EPDM, NBR, etc.). TOLERANCES: The strips have a thickness tolerance of +/- 10%, but at least +/- 0.2 mm. The width tolerance is +/- 1.5%, and the length tolerance is +2%. CUSTOM CUTTING: The self-adhesive strips can be individually cut using a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, we recommend using a template or guide rail. ADHESION: Thanks to the pre-applied self-adhesive layer, the strips can be applied directly to clean, smooth surfaces — without any additional adhesive. RUBBER ODOR / VENTILATION: Rubber has a characteristic odor, similar to that of new car tires. This will dissipate over time. For indoor use, we recommend allowing the product to air out outdoors for an extended period (lay flat, store frost-free and protected from sunlight). For odor-sensitive individuals, EPDM is a suitable alternative material as it has a significantly milder smell. TECHNICAL APPLICATION: The self-adhesive SBR rubber strips are designed for simple technical applications without high requirements for media resistance, temperature, etc. SKIN CONTACT: The material is not intended for applications involving direct contact with human skin. This allows the strips to be used outdoors for extended periods. The product description always clearly indicates whether a strip is intended for indoor or outdoor use.
Yes. The strips can be easily shortened with a cutter or scissors and adapted to corners, curves, or custom dimensions. This makes self-adhesive rubber strips especially flexible when only specific lengths or small areas are needed.
The adhesive layer provides strong bonding on suitable surfaces. It is important that the surface is clean and dry. For extra security, the strips can be pressed briefly after application. On highly porous, wet, or textured surfaces, adhesion may be limited – in such cases, additional adhesive may be useful.
