Flat steel – proven material for many applications

Flat steel is one of the most commonly used semi-finished products in metal construction. Thanks to its rectangular shape, it is particularly easy to screw, weld or install. It is rolled from high-quality steel and offers high tensile strength and resistance to deformation – ideal for statically loaded structures or load-bearing connections.

Applications of flat steel

Flat steel is used in numerous areas, for example:

  • in mechanical and plant engineering
  • for railings, fences, supports and frames
  • in furniture or interior fittings with metal
  • in vehicle engineering
  • in gardening and landscaping
  • for DIY projects, workshops or repairs
Thanks to its clear, flat geometry, flat steel can be easily integrated into existing structures.
